Dermaplaning is the process of removing the very top layer of skin and vellus hair (“peach fuzz”) with a straight razor. It is painless and makes an excellent add-on service for both facials and microneedling.

Microneedling is the process of using tiny needles to cause micro-trauma to the skin, causing the body to produce more collagen resulting in a more youthful appearance. At BodyRenewal, we use the Dermafrac-C system by Biogenesis which simultaneously infuses serums into the skin during the microneedling treatment. The result is a fresh, more youthful appearance to the skin. Microdermabrasion can also be added to this treatment.

A peel is the process of applying various biochemicals in layers to cause skin peeling and removal of sun-damaged and hyperpigmented skin. It is also an excellent treatment for acne-affected skin. Peels are classified by their depth, and can be either medical strength or non-medical.
