Our programs begin with a one-hour initial consultation. This consultation enables us to meet with you and learn more about your past, your medical history, and your goal weight. Then, we can customize your weight management program and custom tailor it to your needs, down to the foods you will be eating. We want to make this process enjoyable, manageable, and maintainable.

Once we confirm that you’re a good fit, we will design your weight loss program. Programs may include prescription medications if deemed appropriate by your provider. Programs may also include different diet plans. We offer intermittent fasting plans, keto diet plans, and other dietary changes to help patients lose weight while giving their bodies the nutrients they need to maintain optimal health.

One of the ways that we promote continued weight loss during our programs is by scheduling regular check-ins. These check-ins provide built-in accountability and can be scheduled as in-person appointments or virtual meetings. Intermittent Fasting
Intermittent fasting is an eating protocol that focuses on creating a specific time frame during which you eat. Based on your needs and goals, we will provide you with a specific window during which you will eat all your meals.
Outside of that window, you’ll spend time fasting, avoiding food until your eating window begins again. Intermittent fasting is effective because it helps the body burn calories and excess fat and is the perfect complement for those looking for a manageable and effective way to overhaul their diet to lose weight.
Prescription Medications
For some patients, prescription weight-loss medications may be an important adjunct to diet and exercise. At BodyRenewal, we use only FDA-approved weight loss medications for the treatment of obesity. Some examples of these medications are Wegovy and Contrave.
Our top priority is patient safety, so we adhere to the guidelines propagated by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Board of Obesity Medicine as well as allied health professional organizations. Weight-loss medications can be very helpful, but they aren’t for everyone; that’s why it’s important to establish a relationship with your provider to ensure all treatments are safe and effective.
Keto Diet Plans
The ketogenic diet focuses on reducing carbohydrate intake to force the body to use fat for fuel. In doing so, the diet plan helps decrease appetite, increases caloric burn, and enables patients to lose weight quickly and safely. You may qualify for one of our keto diet plans based on your needs.
The ketogenic diet focuses on low carbohydrate food intake, and you’ll eat plenty of meats, fish, cheese, vegetables, and healthy fats. At the same time, you’ll avoid carbohydrates, including rice, grains, potatoes, bread, and sugar. One of the benefits of this diet is it doesn’t require that you count every single calorie but instead focuses on avoiding certain foods while consuming others.
Weight Loss Counseling
We also provide weight loss counseling during our weight management programs to help patients better understand their weight management goals, their relationship with food, and the steps they need to take to make lifestyle changes that can help promote optimal health long term. Counseling will help patients better understand the treatment process and equip them with tools and techniques to make lasting lifestyle changes to maintain their long-term goals.
